The place and food were fantastic... as always. This time I had the short rib and I'm sure I'll do it again.
Bacchus is the gold standard in restaurants. From the moment you walk in you feel like they're really glad you came here Everyone is so friendly, courteous and professional. The food is outstanding , as usual.
The food was amazing and the service was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive. Very great place for a romantic dinner.
My wife and I dined here for our anniversary. It was a slow night but the ambience nevertheless was great. We had a wonderful private dinner with some great wine. We were well taken care of and our servers spaced it out nicely for us. The food was exquisite, especially the cheese sampler. Last week Saturday was our first time at Bacchus. We had dined at Lake Park Bistro and Mr. B's on numerous occasions and loved those restaurants. This experience was every bit as good as the other Bartolotta restaurants. We ordered the Porterhouse for 2. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and beautifully sliced on a serving skillet. I joined five (old) Marquette college friends for dinner at Bacchus on Saturday. Most of us live in other states. The food was fabulous (since I was in Wisconsin I had the Walleye) and the service from Susie, Dan and Ryane was gracious and fun. I would strongly recommend Bacchus to anyone who wants to have an excellent comfortable dinner with friends.
First and foremost -- we have to compliment the service. Jen and Susie were amazing. Then there was the food -- incredible. The starters we enjoyed included the Lobster Raviolletti, and the Orchiette with Spinach and frizzled Pork Belly. Perfectly sauced and seasoned, those warmed up the pallet nicely alongside the scrumptious Turley Rattlesnake Ridge Zinfandel.
