Our special dinner could not have been better. It started with the Valet service in frigid weather, welcome from the coat check,and the desk were all appreciated. Our service from Susie and Jacqueline was on mark. Every detail was noted and taken care of from start to finish. My husband had the whitefish and I had the filet. This is a fabulous restaurant with great wines.
Food, service, atmosphere were exceptional and a truly memorable experience.
wonderful food-innovative menu and combinations. I thought the truffles were expensive ($35 for a small shaving) and not properly explained by the staff at the cost...my table unknowingly spend over $150 on truffles-would have rather had another bottle of champagne!
The Porterhouse Steak for 2 was Fabulous! The large 2 inch steak was presented in a cast iron skillet with herbs and delicious pan juices. Each side of the steak was removed from the bone and then sliced for easy serving. We ordered the steak medium rare and it was perfectly red in the middle with a flavorfull crust on the outside. The sides of spinach, mashed potatoes and mushrooms were the perfect side show for the meal. Went home with steak for at least another meal.
This was our first time at Bacchus after experiencing Harbor House, Rumpus Room and Lake Park Bistro. Our expectations of excellence were met and then some.
We had a wonderful family dinner here. Our food and service were excellent. We had been here before and we were not disappointed. We started with the cheese choices as our appetizer. The five cheeses we chose had wonderful flavor and we couldn't decide on a favorite. Our entrees of fish, lamb and short ribs were perfectly done. We chose a spice cake with pumpkin to share for dessert. Again the flavors were wonderful. I would suggest that this is one restaurant you should be sure to eat at when you are in Milwaukee.
Simple put, outstanding from start to finish. My wife and I wanted to do "something special" for our one year anniversary. We found it all at Bacchus. from the moment we entered the doors, we were wonderfully taken care of by the staff, The service team was just that: "a team" working hand in hand to make our dining experience rememberable. Beautiful with great ambience! Both the other Bartolotta Restaurants I have been to have never been a disappointment, but this went above and beyond our expectations. Pricing was very reasonable and the food was out of this world. Best Filet Mignon I have ever had! The server was lovely with just the right amount of attention, so we could have our romantic dinner and not feel we were interrupted. I immediately commented on what a perfect spot it would be for a wedding venue. Superb!
