My husband and I dined at Bacchus before going to the theater. The staff asked about the time of the show and made sure we were finished dining in a perfect amount of time. The food and drink was outstanding as usual! They even called a cab for us to get to the theater. Came back after the show and had drinks and desserts at the bar where we were also treated royally.
We had a delightful dining experience at Bacchus. Had a glass of wine at the bar before being seated. Vibrant is a good word to describe the bar scene. Once seated we were promptly waited on and started by ordering an appetizer and bottle of wine. When served, we proceeded to order dinner. All of our choices turned out to be very good as would be expected at a Bartolotta restaurant. We had a great experience at Bacchus. We spent way too much time in the bar prior to dinner (got there early) and had a great bartender! Had a great cheese app at the bar and with a few great specialty cocktails. Dinner was very good also. Decided to do small plates and they accommodated dividing up entrees into 4. Would go again but next time may just eat and hang out at the bar.
Food was great but service was fair. Hope this was an exception but we had to beg for bread and drink refills.

Wonderful Dinner. Beautiful Ambiance. Had been about 4 years since we had been there. Will go back sooner.
My husband and I had high hopes for Bacchus. The service was great and my scallops were perfectly cooked, but the whole meal lacked flavor from appetizer to dessert. We were both very disappointed.
Wine tasting place. Gave my girl friend a birthday card and some ice creams! Service super nice~ and wine collection definitely complete
Great tasting food, just not enough of it. I tend to eat a snack before going to the really good places cuz they do not put enough food on the plates.The lamb au jus was great on the orzo. The salmon was good but not great.
