Always a wonderful experience. A great splurge.
Bacchus is a very respectable establishment that dishes out some great food. The restaurant is a little too formal, so please dress accordingly. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.
It was a very lovely evening for my wife's 55th birthday. They had a nice card waiting for her. Our server, Curt, was nicely attentive and friendly without being over bearing. The wine selection was wonderful. The menu had a good variety of options and our dishes were cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. Our meal wasn't rushed, the noise level was perfect for us to have a conversation without having to strain to hear. I look forward to going back again soon.
Our son had just graduated from law school, and we went out as a family to celebrate. Although quite expensive (and partially so because we apparently misread the cost of one of the bottles of wine we ordered, thinking it was $60 instead of the $140 we were charged), the food was excellent, the service impeccable, and the entire experience wonderful. We came to Milwaukee for our son's masters graduation and looking for a special place for celebrating his achievement. Bacchus was the perfect place for it, everything was excellent, the service was great and everybody enjoy their food. We ask for the sommelier for some references about wines and she was very helpful and efficient. None of us was been there before, but for sure we will come back and enjoy this incredible restaurant Gain.
This is the place to go for that special occasion, or for just some great food. Really good customer service.
It's not very often that I find food that moves the soul. Bacchus was unbelievable and unforgettable. I had the Maine Lobster Ragout with Scallops as an appetizer and the Banana Split for dessert. Every bite was something to remember. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a romantic evening!
We have always tried to make it to aBartolotta restaurant for special occassions, but especially Bacchus. This place tops our list in terms of service and ambiance. From the time the valet whisks our car away to the hostess walking us out after our meal, everything in between is just top notch. The service is second to none - we have not found a resturant in the Milwaukee area that can match this! We will definitely continue to visit Bacchus when we need that special place to celebrate that special moment.
My wife and I went here for an Early Mother's Day dinner...very impressed. Great location with a good view- valet parking in a private lot on site is also a plus. Wait staff was very knowledgeable and attentive. For an appetizer- we had the spinch and rissotto fritters with the fondue cheese...delish! I had the filet for my main course and it was tasty, but it arrived pre-sliced...I had expected a standard filet.
