Exceptional food and service, even on an insanely busy Valentine's Day. Bartolotta's just knows how to do it right, everytime!

This restaurant is always at the top of its game. If you wish to take someone to a fine dining experience to show them that you appreciate them or think they are special, this is the place to go in Milwaukee. It is elegant but never pretentious. The chef creates an exciting menu and the food is always prepared well and with flare. The wait staff is consistently the best I have ever had; there when you need them and attentive, but never intrusive or obsequious. In case you haven't guessed by this point, Bacchus is at the top ... read more

We did a fair amount of waiting on the Saturday before Valentine's Day: 10-15 minutes to get seated, 10 minutes before we saw our server, a good 15 minutes before we saw our wine (which came after our first course was served), 20-25 minutes for our main course, and 10-15 minutes before we saw anyone to ask for our check. We received no apologies at any point. One bright spot was the dessert server, who was prompt and personable. The food was very good, but not great. And, as at any Bartolotta restaurant, normal conversation ... read more

It's not our first time at Bacchus. As usual, food did not disappoint. Service was attentive but not smothering (for whatever reason, we waited over 30 minutes for dessert). "Ice water" was warm. Restaurant was very busy due to Valentine's. Oh well.
