The food and service was outstanding. Ambience is rated as poor because the table next to us was very loud and very profane with nothing said to them
Beautiful restaurant, excellent service. Food was wonderful as always. I've never seen roasted fennel before and had to ask what it was. Loved the cheese selection and the generous servings. My husband really enjoyed his filet/mushrooms.
Chef Adam once again came through with an amazing array of dishes to appease everyone at the table! Not only that but he and the staff flawlessly pulled off a dessert "engagement ring" presentation for a new US Marine and his fiance'. It was truly a charmed evening!
What can I say other than brilliant. The food was amazing, service impeccable, and set in the Cudahay Towers on the lake. Chris the manager warmly welcomed us in right away, and from then on the evening was superb. 5 stars, and try the Porterhouse for 2. You will not be disappointed!
The small dishes were fabulous. Our waiter was very helpful in assisting us with the menu. We can not wait to go back.
Bacchus is in its own class on the Milwaukee scene... Service is second to none, the wine list is impressive, the quality of the food is amazing. Romantic or Business, formal or a little less formal: whatever the reason for the dinner there, the people at Bacchus know how to make your dining experience a unique one...
Bacchus excels in all four critical dining experience facets: food, wine, service and atmosphere.
Food was excellent however, the serving sizes was relatively small, for example, a desert (or appetizer) was a cheese plate, which was one slice of cheese for $5. The waitress was excellent and provided advice regarding wine selections.
we always enjoy our visit to Baccus...it just seemed a bit slow paced this time...we happened to have been seated for almost 2 1/2 hours! Our visit was pleasant even with the pace.
