Established in 1972. A Passion Turns Into A Business The story of Bassitt Auto Co. is the story of how one man turned a lifelong hobby into a thriving car repair shop and auto service company in Beaverton. In 1971, Craig Bassitt started working on friends' cars in his Lake Grove garage, part time. When a car malfunctions it is always a stressful experience, but Bassitt Auto took away the stress!! They had a loaner car for me which was most of the battle and they were so nice! My car is running great now and with the tests they ran, I feel like they found things that needed to be done before they became a problem on the highway. Thanks so much!
I went there w/ an intermittent Check Oil light. They were not able to recreate the issue but identified the potential causes and provided the option of either replacing the flaky sensor or continuing to drive with it. They also informed me of the low risk associated to continuing to dirve with it.
I have had the folks at Bassitt service my vehicles. Fix an electical problem that didn't want to go away and others I can't remember. They stuck with it until they found the problem. I have always found them fare and honest. I was going to give them 4.5 stars because they don't have rootbeer floats:)
I have had several experiences with different cars and auto shops in the last 13 years. Some of the auto mechanics were knowledgeable but not very honest. Others were honest but not very knowledgeable.
Bassitt has been great every time we have taken our auto's in. We have had hard to troubleshoot issues over months and they were able to fix it.
Found a replacement drivers seat and replaced it two days later. Seat was a perfect match and in great condition for 15 years old. I have been a Bassitt coustomer since Craig was in the quonset hut!
The Bassitt team replaced the timing belt on my '96 Dodge Intrepid.
The staff at Bassitt are very friendly and helpful.
No matter what the situation, there are answers, smiles and a friendly fountain drink.
Bassitt Auto has a 4.9 star rating with 820 reviews.
