Buyers beware, this seems like a company that is fine with customers feeling taken advantage of. The top solution in their instructions "doesn't work for 95% of our customers".I researched devices to help my stroke-survivor mother feel comfortable being alone. Bay Alarm for landline setup seemed like the best choice so I signed up, paid shipping and waited for the device to arrive. We have been paying monthly for a medical alert watch for my Mom. We've been paying for a year. Last month, she had a heart attack and pushed the button for 15 minutes. No response at all. Later, we called them and they said that her watch was never set up correctly. I asked for a credit (not even a refund) for the year that we had been paying as they said the watch was never set up correctly to begin with. My wife had signed up for this service this spring and had a few problems with the unit, being heavy and not responding quickly. The thing that got my attention was about three months ago when I received a e-mail from my credit card saying the card was used in ************* three time by UBER....I called and told them it was not me. They canceled the card and issued a new card number. My elderly mother lives with my husband and me. She stays in the house while we work mostly outside, so I worry about my mother falling and not able to get help. She had previously had a wrist band from a different company, but thought it was too expensive. She called Bay Alarm and was sold a device to keep on her desk on a charger. Be sure to read the small print - if you cancel, you're on your own regarding sending it back. They will not print a label for you even with postage paid. I had to send mine back after I cancelled it 2 days ago. I used my own box and the absolute cheapest method was by ***** costing me along with Insurance for the $220. base with the red button, a whopping $23. My mother in law fell in her home and pressed the button. They called and said help is on the way. Well help never arrived so we called them and they said they couldnt find her house. Ok so she lives right off the main road and is the easiest place to find. So not sure why they couldnt find her. As a result she layed in the floor with a fractured pelvis for almost 2 hours!! This company is horrible. If you elect to disconnect their services (even with notice), they will continue to **** you until long after they receive the return of their equipment. In our case, we were on an auto annual renew and used their services for over 10 years. They sent email notice of the auto renew - 3 days before the renewal. Since the service was no longer needed, I called to cancel the service and was tole that I needed to return the equipment and have the return postmarked before the renewal date before a refund... read more

Signed up for monitoring for my elderly mother in July of 2020. Gave my payment information for automatic monthly payments. Recieved a call on Sep 29 2021 from the company saying that I owe over 300 dollars because they changed over their system last year and failed to contact their customers. This is bad business practices. I have requested to cancel my service.
