Almost 10 years ago I walked through the doors of Bayside Marin, and it saved my life. Today I'm living a life I never could have dreamed of or imagined back then, and I owe so much of that to this program. Bayside Marin is an excellent treatment center, I'd rate it #2 in northern California. At first, I didn't want to go here, mainly because of negative reviews and hearsay from an acquaintance, and corporate ownership. But I quickly changed my mind. I came here devestated by a very traumatic year of my life, in as much of a mental health crisis as I was in a substance one. Everything went well! From the moment I set foot on the campus, I was treated with the utmost care, respect, kindness, a true sense of warmth that I was in the right place. The excellence of care, coupled with the seasoned staff, care givers, medical staff, therapists, maintenance, were top notch! And the food they provided, I left a good 10-15 pounds heavier. Dr Donatto is fabulous. He was right on my diagnoses as much as I wanted to hear something else. He explained everything in detail. So I see surgery in the near future

Even though I close though, I was thrown out for reasonable reasons! Very thoughtful and professional staff member is very compassionate. I messed up my recovery by overreacting Listen to the programs do what they say. You can get something out of it and it can help you. John L
