Pros: Bayview Animal Clinic is clean and smells less like a vet than many other clinics in South Florida, also their customer facing staff and veterinarian assistants are pleasant to work with. You'll get the impression they genuinely care about each pet brought to their facility. Cons: I'm sure our experience isn't applicable to all vet staff, but the two who saw our pet were fast talking and seemingly money motivated - possibly incentivized by a commission structure. They came off as apathetic and impersonal at best. ... read more

It has been several weeks now since my precious Violet died and I only now have found the courage to write how I feel about your clinic. I came highly recommended to your clinic by a friend of mind as I had been searching for a good veterinarian for quite some time. I brought my Violet in as she was not breathing well. I met with a Dr. Christopher D. Smith. He seemed quite confident and assured me he could get my Violet through what ever she was going through. I thought to myself that perhaps I finally found a good doctor fo... read more

I have used this center when Dr. Brunz was running it. Loved it and great honest care as needed. I have had a few questionable situations in the past and yesterday was my last. When you leave a message for a vet, good luck in getting a return call. This happened twice with them in a real time of need. I had a crisis yesterday with my cat and was promised a call back after 1 pm...still waiting. This is a similar situation I had previously with them, again in a crisis, no call. I have come to the conclusion that we ca... read more

First time clients, staff was very friendly. Issues that's we have are for the months of February and March our English Bulldog was given expired Heartgaurd medicine. We notified office staff on 3/14/2017. We asked to speak to the office manager and as of today's date we have not heard from them. We've sent countless emails to address the situation. Now the staff did replace her meds but the fact that no member of management has call us to even ask if our puppy is ok or to even apologize. We are not a rich family. Our... read more

What a horrible place. Disorganized, dirty, unfriendly staff. I made an appointment two days ago to take my cats in. Not only did they made me wait for an hour but then when it was time to see Blue to trim his nails, they made me go outside and wait to only come back and said he was not being friendly and would not do it. I asked them to let me in the room as if he saw me he would be ok, and the girl came back with some excuse of why she didn't want to trim my cat nails. They didn't have a problem before... All of the sudden... read more

Id like to mention that this is not a mark against this particular Animal Hospital, rather a comment towards a particular female Animal Technician named (Nick). Again, The Doctor and other female technician were Superb in the doctors room, however this particular female technician (Nick) was terrifyingly rough with my animal. I know it caused trauma to my pet, because In all my years I never heard it scream so bad, and it took over 5 minutes for it to be touched even gently by me - its owner of 8 + years. It was hurt/te... read more

Wish I could leave no stars... The first time I went there my puppy was vomiting and having diarrhea, so me being the concerned and conscientious pet owner, my husband and I waited outside with our pup. We waited over an hr, with the staff knowing how sick he was. So I go in finally and ask how much longer and I'm told there's still another walk-in in front of me. I go back outside and the front desk person walks out and sees us and says o, let me see if they can take him to the back. A pet nurse comes out and says, o we... read more

We loved Dr. Nelson on our first visit but we never saw him! Our puppy was having major digestive issues and the other vets there blamed it on is - that we were feeding him too "rich" of a diet (aka, all natural). They put our puppy on a name-brand food full of by-product, corn, soy, and wheat - NO THANK YOU. We decided to go to a holistic vet in the area and start him on a raw food diet...WHAT A DIFFERENCE! No digestive issues and beautiful coat! Bayview Clinic and conventional vet medicine NO MORE. They just push the... read more
