They used to be a good place to take your pet. Now they are the worst place to go to. They are impossible to reach by phone and if you do get through to a person you are immediately put on hold. I stopped using them almost a year ago and today I got a bill for $114 with no explanation. When I called no one knew anything about it or could tell me what it was for. I was told that the "hospital manager" would have to contact me and that they wouldn't be in for another week. Do yourself a favor and find another vet.

The turnover in this clinic has resulted in a massive downturn in quality of care, service and attention to detail. I have been taking my dog to this clinic for some time, for basic check ups. Nothing major. Recently, I had to experience the clinic, for the first time with my dog, dealing with a more serious health problem. I have been a Client with Bayveiw for over 12 Years. Dr. Nelson, Dr. Smith & Dr. Brunz built Bayview with genuine kindness & for the love of animals. We have always had 7 animals in our household. And I could always count on Rudd to treat my pets as he would his own. NOW, the Corporate American Vet is a sad thing. Over charged by a few hundred dollars the past 3 times I have been in there. Alas Bayview has joined the world of Corporate - run as many tests as possible to jack the bill up. No longer do we have the competence and genuine caring of Dr. Rudd Nelson and his staff. Too many incompetent changes and the only recourse is for Dr. Nelson to return to the helm. Truly disappointed and I called NVA to tell them about my discord. You know I have been a customer at Bayview for many years and had 3 dogs. Now I am left with one 19 year old one. I loved Dr. Nelson and felt terrible when he left but because my little one is so old I hate to change. You can never see the same Vet twice. The employees always did have a big turn over but now they are always new. The nicest and most caring was Aaron and now they let her go. This vet was good before the renovations . I've been going here for years . My dog needed surgery ASAP for her ACL she is in a lot of pain and limping . They schedule me 3 weeks out them when I call to the night before to get post op instructions they have nothing in the books for me !! So no call back the following day I go in to see why I'm not even getting a call . 2 years and a half wasted at this facility.. Very unprofessional terrible customer service, no one will say hello at that place including doctors. It looks like you where at a free place waiting in line to have a service... If you have any kind of call, they will leave you at least 1 hour on the phone and then they will not come back with a call answering what you need ( it was not a medical question) . I trusted my Josie to them. Dr Cares removed a large tumor. I expected to see him after surgery but I was brought my dig and told to go to the front desk for payment. Asked to see him he complied. Two days later she was bleeding thru her bandage. Staff tech she was fine. Just put a t-shirt on her. Two more days drains removed. Still oozing thru shirt. No doctor. Horrible horrible horrible. This is the rudest most inconsiderate group of individuals ive ever come across in the animal field. It's so hard these days to find a good vet and this is a PRIME example of why. They are money hungry and can care less for your pet. My first cat I brought in a year or so ago they did tests on him and never called me with the results even after continually calling and attempting to follow up.
