This vet was good before the renovations . I've been going here for years . My dog needed surgery ASAP for her ACL she is in a lot of pain and limping . They schedule me 3 weeks out them when I call to the night before to get post op instructions they have nothing in the books for me !! So no call back the following day I go in to see why I'm not even getting a call . 2 years and a half wasted at this facility.. Very unprofessional terrible customer service, no one will say hello at that place including doctors. It looks like you where at a free place waiting in line to have a service... If you have any kind of call, they will leave you at least 1 hour on the phone and then they will not come back with a call answering what you need ( it was not a medical question) . I trusted my Josie to them. Dr Cares removed a large tumor. I expected to see him after surgery but I was brought my dig and told to go to the front desk for payment. Asked to see him he complied. Two days later she was bleeding thru her bandage. Staff tech she was fine. Just put a t-shirt on her. Two more days drains removed. Still oozing thru shirt. No doctor. Horrible horrible horrible. This is the rudest most inconsiderate group of individuals ive ever come across in the animal field. It's so hard these days to find a good vet and this is a PRIME example of why. They are money hungry and can care less for your pet. My first cat I brought in a year or so ago they did tests on him and never called me with the results even after continually calling and attempting to follow up. Pros: Bayview Animal Clinic is clean and smells less like a vet than many other clinics in South Florida, also their customer facing staff and veterinarian assistants are pleasant to work with. You'll get the impression they genuinely care about each pet brought to their facility. Cons: I'm sure our experience isn't applicable to all vet staff, but the two who saw our pet were fast talking and seemingly money motivated - possibly incentivized by a commission structure. I have used this center when Dr. Brunz was running it. Loved it and great honest care as needed. I have had a few questionable situations in the past and yesterday was my last. When you leave a message for a vet, good luck in getting a return call. This happened twice with them in a real time of need. I had a crisis yesterday with my cat and was promised a call back after 1 pm...still waiting. This is a similar situation I had previously with them, again in a crisis, no call. First time clients, staff was very friendly. Issues that's we have are for the months of February and March our English Bulldog was given expired Heartgaurd medicine. We notified office staff on 3/14/2017. We asked to speak to the office manager and as of today's date we have not heard from them. We've sent countless emails to address the situation. What a horrible place. Disorganized, dirty, unfriendly staff. I made an appointment two days ago to take my cats in. Not only did they made me wait for an hour but then when it was time to see Blue to trim his nails, they made me go outside and wait to only come back and said he was not being friendly and would not do it.
