My dog was rapidly gaining weight and took him here. They ran every test they could run, an MRI, multiple blood and urine tests...thyroid test, can you hear the dollars adding up? He had crystals and moderate amounts of blood in his urine, no fever, no bacteria...they treated him with antibiotics? Used to be ok. Not anymore! After taking my dog numerous times in the last couple weeks they never seem to know what to do or how to treat... NOT what you would expect after hundreds dollars spent. Dr Nelson scared both my husband and I that our dog could be in real danger and requested immediate bloodwork to see if he needed further tests. These were supposed to be communicated with us later that day for further evaluation if needed... hav e been going to this clinic for a few years. while working as a nurse had no pro blem paying for her services. the care she received was always excellent.. my dog has had surgeries there, as well as other problems. since retirement living on a fixed income has b een difficult, especially when pet needs care. the office has allowed me to pay what i could, and pay remainderf the folling month, which i always did pay, and really was good, as i could take good care of my dog. today i called, as my dog has a prob lem, ... read more

They almost killed my dog by mistreating him for over 7 weeks. During the treatment he kept on getting worst and worst, oddly I wasn't given follow up appointments and Dr. Smith would prescribe him different medicines and just say let's see how he does on these, but I took him in every week because he was getting worse and deteriorating, I always called before going in to make sure it was ok which they said it was but yet made us wait an hour if not more when I was obviously not there for a vaccine shot. From start to finish, my visit to Bayview Animal Clinic was by far, the most sub par vet experience I have ever had. Super small, hectic lobby & patient area with no way to divide coming & going dogs. The whole place was disoragized, unkept, and crowded. The patient room we were in was small with no place to sit or work in. Not until Dr. Smith walked into the room, did anybody else ever introduce themselves. Recommended to me by my landlord. Great call. My dog is treated well, however the place is small and very hectic. This I would HIGHLY suggest, they need some kind of follow up system for vaccinations and such. If they do I was never told about it. I brought my dog in and thought he needed annual check up and vaccinations to find I was early. Took my cat here on a Saturday because she was throwing up and not feeling well. My usual vet Dr. Smith went out of town so the owner Dr. Nelson kept her for 72 hours. I would call for updates and she was either not eating and still sickly or eating and feeling better (get your story straight). I called on Monday and they told me she was better and to pick her up.
