Surprising stay Pros: New, clean. sparkled. Location: We visited Ferndale the next morning. Very nice! We picked out this hotel based on our travel needs and the low cost of the room. It was excellent! Beautiful room, clean, all is relatively new. Parked close to the elevator, room was right near elevator. We even had a great time in the casino. It was a great break from the long drive we took that day. I would definitely stay there again if I am in the area!
Nice hotel with parking location under cover Pros: Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. The Casino is a separate but easily reached area. Cons: They could add tea bags to in-room amenities for those who do not drink coffee. Location: We enjoyed the Loleta Cheese factory and sales room. The "lost Coast" in California does not have a lot of choices, so this is a well situated Hotel/Casino.
A good night's sleep Cons: There is not really a gift shop or coffee bar, though there are a few items behind the receptionist you can purchase. Location: We had a great time in the casino, so much so that some of our money decided to stay. Personable staff and not crowded. We found the rooms at the hotel by far the quietest and most comfortable of any on a two week west coast tour. Slept like babies in very comfortable beds, never heard a peep, and the room temperature was well (and not noisily) maintained. The downside: I... read more
Beware, AND BRING YOUR POCKET BOOK, with lots of $ Pros: Oh its a great hotel, its NEW... The rooms are very big which I liked... Cons: The pictures are very deceiving, pool, exercise room, parking garage are all very small, restaurant no ocean view, and very costly... Location: It is in a great location on and off the freeway, and there a gas station available, when your leaving, that's about it. There is no clear markings hotel or casino, which there are two different entrance very confusing. I was asked for a deposit when... read more
Great option in Loleta/Ferndale area. One of the nicer options, but the main lobby smells of smoke from the casino. Other than that, the rest of the hotel is great.
Over rated Pros: Not much Cons: More handicap rooms, acceptance of AARP even when booked thru another service. Location: Rather isolated. Red wood national park was about 10 miles away. There is a two prices for the rooms. One states water view for $20 more. They would not take AARP upon check in, saying since the room was booked thru Expedia. We had requested a handicap room but upon arrival we were informed that the ONE room was already occupied. The water view was an inlet. The TV selection left a lot to be desired. There... read more
Nice hotel with great staff. Pros: Location, quality of decor and staff. Location: Very good location. Near the beach and short distance from historical towns with excellent dining and shopping. Views were outstanding. Hotel is newer, with lovely views. Staff is very, very friendly and helpful. Rooms are well laid out and clean. Excellent price for the quality. Would definitely stay there again.
Very good ! Pros: Is well located ,not so far away from our destination, the Redwood's National Park, Avenue of the Giants and Downtown Eureka, Humboldt Bay etc back Cons: Adding frigider and microwaves in the rooms. Location: Perfect to go to different touristic places you just need to have a previous plan to go everywhere is worth to see and enjoy your vacation time. I can not say excellent because we have three cons; did not have a frigider and microwave in our room , also we could not use the computer's hotel business ce... read more
