Amazing experience Pros: The Pool, fitness center, style Cons: seedy characters playing all night and smoking like chimneys Location: Close to Eureka, go and visit the redwoods, or go to Loleta I've heard there's an amazing cheese factory there amazing native american styled casino & hotel, arrived late at night and the valet parking was just what I needed. the room was really comfortable, and next morning i was able to swim in the hot pool. Really nice.
Good choice Pros: Very clean , good comfort, for us very quiet Cons: Quality of the restaurant Price/quality was very good Rooms were very clean and quiet I asked to make a reservation for a certain table in the restaurant, which they were incapable of executing Food was "special" , too fatty for Europeans
Very nice rooms and great food in restaurant!! Pros: Great views. Super friendly staff. Cons: Pool was way to small, did not use. Location: Very good location, close to Redwoods and right on the coast! Had fun in the casino, small but lots of good machines. We had a great meal in the restaurant that also has good views of the valley since the resort sets up on a hill.
Great Hotel and Services Pros: the size and cleanliness of the rooms. Cons: Lighting in the rooms... The rooms are very large, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were always ready to help with what ever you needed. We stayed for 5 nights and enjoy talking to the staff, from were to shop, eat and visit... they all had great ideas. We also, had our breakfast and some dinners at the restaurant, the service and food was very good. Enjoyed our stay, would stay there again.
Call center employee who helped me with the reservation was very good. Service is all around excellent both from the call center and the reservation was easy. Check in and check out was easy too!
Best option Access to surrounding activities was great. Great place to stop on the redwood route.
New hotel - nice Overall, very good, clean upscale room with large washroom. Good food in restaurant. Lobby smells of smoke as it is a casino.
A quality, affordable option. Pros: Good staff, comfortable rooms. Cons: The shower was a bit weird. Not bad weird, but weird all the same. Location: It's 10 minutes outside of Eureka, which, I must admit, we only drove through. There is some spectacular scenery nearby, however. After a long drive to Eureka, we decided to stay at Bear River. Our room was spacious and comfortable and reasonably priced. The staff were uniformly friendly. We didn't use the Casino parts of the hotel and casino, but we did have dinner in the rest... read more
Wonderful stay Pros: Comfortable, beautifully decorated and very friendly staff. Cons: Pool and restaurant open later. I stayed at the Bear River Casino Hotel on my way from Redwood National Park to Mendocino. It was a beautiful, relatively new hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location was ideal for my needs (though it is about an hour to an hour and a half from most tourist attractions in the Redwoods (Del Norte Coast Redwoods). The staff was very friendly. A special shout out to "Randy" for his help with m... read more
