We stayed here 1 night and the room was great pric Pros: it was very clean and quite Cons: it was great just as it is Location: We were heading to Ferndale and spent the night here we found this hotel to be very nice and it was very quite and clean
Budget hotel with excellent service. Everything is good. I would give 5 stars if there were less mineral in the water, I bet nobody likes to be slippery after a shower.
Fantastic value and service Pros: Well appointed rooms, excellent beds, friendly service. Cons: Better sound proofing between rooms and corridor. Location: We just needed a stop for the night so didn't seek out activities. Nothing much close by but the hotel has a casino, dining room and pool. Great place to stop for the night on the way to San Francisco. I don't gamble so I passed on the casino but the room was very nice and the mattress was really good. Perfect place for the night. The room was super fancy and I gotta admit the rate was fair enough. Staff and everything else was super nice. I enjoyed the stay.
Casino hotel... Elevator a bit smoky, but to be expected I guess since directly connected to casino. Shower door handle sketchy, but if I got stuck in that heavenly rain shower ... who's not to say that's not a plus? All in all a nice stay, maybe a bit pricey, but if there to gamble, a definite repeat. Nice, clean, comfortable.

Really nice stay! Pros: Clean and comfortable. Reasonable rates. Stayed here to attend daughter's graduation at Humboldt State University. Chose the Bear River Casino Hotel because it's close enough to HSU and it's much nicer than the hotels in Arcata and Eureka. Turned out to be a very good choice. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The ventilation system is being renovated - complaints that the cig smoke from the casino penetrated the hotel are a thing of the past. Beautiful This hotel was clean, friendly, and overall beautiful. The restaurant was great. The views are breathtaking. we had a great time.
Nice hotel with bar and casino Did Avenue of the Giants race and the hotel was fine. No problems. Free valet. At first they wouldn't give me late check out but the lady at the desk the next day did. That was great
