They never has explained to me the Dental Plans available. I'm paying from my pocket and need a clear explanation of my options in case I buy insurance.
Why do I need this treatment? Whole mouth or targeted tooth/teeth? What might happen if I delay or avoid this treatment? Are there other treatment options? What if this treatment does not work? What are the risks associated with this treatment? What complications could develop, immediate or long-term? What follow-up care and costs are involved?
I did not have a warm and comfortable feeling about my visit when I left. I felt rushed and just moved along assembly style. Not that anyone did anything wrong. Everyone did their job. I just did not get that "human connection" that I expect from my dental experience.
I am waiting for an appointment for an October cleaning. I was surprised to learn that the dental hygenist was booked until March.
I am use to splitting the bill in half; pay one part after procedure and then billed for the other half. I always did this with Dr. Herman.
I did not even have an appointment but stopped in to ask if there was any way I could speak to the doctor or someone else there to discuss a problem I was having. To my surprise the doctor came in and provided me with a temporary solution and made an appointment for me with my regular dentist.

For people like me who are scheduled for surgery, I would send them home with Rx's for Antibiotics and pain killers before the Surgery so they do not have to go to Drugstore after Surgery when they have a lot of discomfort.
There is no aspect of your practice that is not excellent, and I count myself lucky to be a patient. I have already referred one of my friends to Dr. Bergen. Hope your services and staff never change!
