RecommendedMy dog needed a surgery that was very much expensive and I struggled finding the right place to take him. We had never been to this vet but found them on a last shot whim and gave them a chance and they gave us a chance! Best decision I’ve made for my dog yet! My pup went in for his yearly check up and had his rabies vaccine renewed yesterday-- I was very surprised that they called this morning to check up on him and see how he's doing! Amazing patient care. I'm very glad I chose them to take care of my fur baby.
Dr. Mokos and her staff are wonderful with all fur babies. Very empathetic and caring. There are no words that describe how thankful we are for what they did for us.
We used to live in Hanahan and fell in love with the entire staff. We moved 4 years ago to Ridgeville and now make the 45 min drive to Hanahan. There are several Vets we pass along that drive but I wouldn’t take my babies to anyone else.
We took in my 3 yr old boxer, Chewy, here yesterday. She was so loved and cared for while she had her visit. She enjoyed the nurses who distracted her while she was getting her shots. Even got a phone call back this morning to check in on our fur baby and to see how she is doing. Highly recommended!

We have a pup that has a medical condition requiring him to be closely monitored and taken to the vet as soon as possible, if need be. Dr. Mokos, Dr. Spooner and the whole staff have consistently gone above and beyond for us. Everyone there is always very friendly and knowledgeable. Animals usually dread going to the vet; when we tell our dog he has to go to the vet, he runs and gets his leash! I would definitely recommend Best Friends Animal Clinic!!
This clinic is amazing! I had an emergency right at their closing time last night and they took us in anyways and stayed late to make sure that my fur baby was okay. I am so thankful to have found this place. The staff is so friendly and caring. They don't make you feel like you are troubling them at all. Great customer service. I took Scooter my dog. I feel in love with the Doctor she is so compassionate about the animals. I love this clinic. The staff is also friendly not rude like alot of vet places.
