RecommendedThe name is a dead-ringer for these folks. They are without a doubt your pet's "best friend." We trust all our 4 legged "kids" to their excellent care. Recently, our oldest dog, Bella, a 13 yr. old miniature Daschund, required not only emergency care...but some fairly specialized care - including surgery. The staff and Dr. Mokos are wonderful caring people. We had to put our family dog Bear to rest. They walked us through the procedure and gave us time to grieve. I would refer anybody who has a pet to go to Best Friends.
They took my Stevie Ray in when our regular vet closed for the holidays with no notice and helped me save him by giving him the meds he desperately needs. I may switch completely. The staff is amazing
Dr. Mokus and her team have been so kind and comforting to us throughout one of the most difficult situations we have ever been through. Our sweet pup was diagnosed with kidney disease. Dr Mokus asked several questions and did a thorough examination to be sure. We trusted her immediately as she was clearly very knowledgeable. Her staff was accommodating and treated our Brutis as though she was one of their own. I would recommend them to anyone and will continue to see them for all future fur babies.
Yesterday was one of the hardest days I've ever had! I knew I loved Dr Mokos and the entire staff bc of how they took such good care of our boy when he was hit by a car... but saying goodbye to my baby yesterday brought even more respect and love for the entire office!! They gave guidance, compassion, and love while I said goodbye! They let me just lay with my girl without rushing our time! They had me bring them in when it was time, they didn't tell me! Dr. Mokos and her staff are wonderful! They truly care about your furry family members! They strive to give the best care possible and do what is the best for you and your pets. We have experienced where they go above and beyond to provide care for our cats/dogs. Highly recommended!
For 30 yrs that I have lived in the Charleston area and have had pets ever since, Best Friends are by FAR the best veterinarian clinic I have had. Professional and friendly and reasonable. Glad to have you as my furry kids care takers!! Thanks for always doing a great job!!
Dr. Mokos is the best vet we have ever taken our dog to! Not only is she the doctor that found out what was going on with our pet after taking her to three other doctors, she truly loves her job and is really knowledgeable! The staff is also awesome at what they do and we absolutely love it there! Thank you Dr. Mokos and your wonderful team!
