I got the cinnamon French toast at the M-59 & Garfield location. I couldn't really taste any cinnamon, and they didn't have the cream cheese frosting, which is the thing that drew me to order it in the first place, because it sounded a little like a Cinnabon. I got what appeared to be and tasted like regular French toast. When I asked the waitress, she asked the manager (or owner?) and he said the company stopped making the cream cheese frosting, and that they had forgotten to serve the caramel. What on earth is wrong with this place? Currently sitting here with my mother and we're about to leave! The manger is running around the restaurant without a mask on screaming at the top of his lungs. The waitress brought out our order which was wrong then said she knew It was wrong but just wanted us to say something? WHAT?!?

Unfortunately, the quality of this Big Boy's has gone down hill. The service has never been good or friendly in the last few years. The experienced, professional, and friendly staff is no longer there. It's replaced by a SUPER unprofessional disruptive and plain annoying manager and irritatingly talks to customers. Not good vibes. All the waitresses are all young, inexperienced, and clueless. The fries are always greasy, some ingredients in the salad bar look suspicious. I called this location today to ask a question and they won't answer their phone. Sometimes it rings forever, so I have to just hang up, but one time they picked up the phone and hung it back up to disconnect my call. Then I called back many, many times and all I got was a busy signal, which probably indicates they took it off the hook. I have one quick question, but they refuse to answer the phone, very rude. Now I understand why their ratings on yelp are so low.

I haven't been here in years and I recently moved near Big Boy so I figured I'd stop in. I've been craving a slim Jim and that's exactly what I ordered. It was good, but I think the size of them has become smaller over the years. The slim Jim came with a side of French fries, which were greasy. The reason for the lack of stars is as I was sitting down, I saw two people waiting for their carry outs for more than half of the duration of my visit. We received the worst service ever!! We ordered carry out and ask for it to be ready at 5pm, when we got there at 5 we had to wait another 23 minutes for them to figure out how to put our order together. To many people looking for a piece of our order. Onion rings!! We ended up with two orders of onion rings and missing 4 salads. I wouldn't recommend this big boy's!! To start off the most horrible service ever. It was not busy and it took 20 minutes for a server to come our table then the server very rude. No straws. No silverware I was so mad I could not even enjoy my food. Server kept on telling me what I wanted also Never came back to see if we wanted anything but did notice server at nearby table just doing whatever. I just ordered a super big boy and fries to go. Now home, I start to eat. Fries are unremarkable but the burger was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! And of course they are closed so I can't call and complain. I will NEVER go back to that 3rd world shit hole restaurant.
