As soon as we walked in my kids commented on the smell. We waited for several minutes for a cook to finally let us know we could sit down wherever we wanted. The smell was like musty dirty carpet which was welcoming compared to the bathrooms stench. My hands were cleaner before going in there to wash them before the salad bar. I wish i had walked out then but had the mostly empty salad bar and my kids had their meal. I dont think i will ever be back. Unsanitary.

I ate breakfast at this restaurant and when I left I saw a dog sitting on the dashboard of a vehicle, windows rolled up and vehicle not running. Current temperature 78 and very humid. I went back inside to tell the cashier and she said, "oh they eat here all the time" my response is "it's too hot for that poor dog". She said "oh well" and walked away. As a child we used to go to this Big Boy every weekend. As an adult I would rather go hungry than to eat here. We waited for nearly 15 minutes for a hostess. The place was pretty empty so it was confusing as to why we weren't being seated. People were also waiting at the cash register. One couple said to leave because it took them over 30 minutes to get their food once ordered and they were now waiting to pay the bill. Thy were standing there when we walked in. Stopped for lunch maybe around 1 pm. Seated right away. Waitress cheerful, helpful and friendly (sry didn't get her name). Sat in the outer section by Hall Rd. Carpets were dirty, paper from a straw and a crayon under table a crossed from me. Ask for hash browns well done and received medium but they were cooked and they were also very, very, greasy! Never again! We waited 45 minutes for our food and then my husband's food was cold. I wanted clam chowder, they had just run out, this was 7 pm on a Friday - what do you mean you ran out?! I'll never go to this Big Boys again.

This place should be shut down! Extremely poor service yesterday around 5:00pm. I literally watched the manager on duty wipe his brow with a blue rag he had n his pant pocket, then wipe the table and chairs with it!!! He also cleared off the table and the the brown container fell on the floor. All of the fluids that we in the brown container went all on the floor and the bottom of the table. We had a terrible experience. First it took at least 10 minutes before somebody asked us how many people we had. We then waited at least 10 minutes to be seated. The waitress cane to take our order. My husband and I ordered dinner and I was half way through my Big Boy before she even brought us silverware or napkins. First let me start by saying it was busy when we went. To be fair. Also I was not expecting great food. It's kind of just plain dinner style food right. I really think the waitress was trying. They just have a bunch of side work all the time. We were short silverware. Took 5 minutes to get more after we were given our food. I always used to go to this big boy. Me and my husband loved spending our Friday's here. Upon recently, i have had the worst customer service by one of their waitresses, she refused to take back my big boy when it had ZERO sauce on it, nor did she get me side sauce, gave serious attitude when we asked if our meal came with a side she didn't end up bring us the bill, and never came to fill up my drinks.
