The food was good if the waitress wouldn't have taken it all away and threw it out as my significant other and his children used the bathroom! The service was not ok that was absolutely absurd. Your staff needs work and to be more considerate towards children. What is wrong with you!? As for the "ambiance".... NEXT TIME WAIT TO SEE IF SOMEONE IS IN THE BATHROOM OR IF CHILDREN AND PAYING COSTUMERS WANT TO FINSIH THEIR MEAL! CHILL OUT AND RELAX PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED TO TAKE THEIR TIME TO EAT!
Do not eat here my dad and I saw the cook grab cheese like straight up just cheese and eat it dropping it out of his mouth and then making food
My son and I went there, customer service was top notch. The majority of the waitresses seem to not have any teeth which gave vibes of a drug re-entry program etc. I ordered the farmers omelet and my son ordered the big boy burger. I have worked in the restaurant business for many years and I was highly disappointed in the quality and presentation of the food. The food was dry I could not find anything that tasted good the breakfast buffet The waitress was rude we did not like how they would talk to people It looked like any breakfast place
Stopped by here this morning to have breakfast before running some errands. Hoping for a little nostalgia with the breakfast buffet. The restaurant was run down and dirty. Sat at a booth near a window that hadn't been cleaned with bugs crawling around. Food at the buffet was either over cooked or soggy. Staff were not friendly upon arriving and seemed annoyed being there doing their jobs. It wouldn't surprise if this place shut down in the near future. Sad to see this Michigan based restaurant chain dying.
Haven't been to big boy in years so decided to take the kids walked in stood there waiting 30 minutes to be sat after saying something for the 3rd time we finally got a waitress that clearly hates her job walk us to the table leaves and didn't come back for 10 min to take our drink order then 20 min to come back and take our food order over all definitely would not recommend this location worst experience I've had in a long time
Been going to Big Boy since I was a child. My favorite has always been the Slim Jim but it keeps getting flatter and smaller. Still no salad bar :( . Every time I go here it's a disappointment. I leave here wishing I went somewhere else.
Yuk. Decided to stop in. It's been a lifetime. As I sit here watching the servers clear tables, take payments from customers ,then turn around and prepare food to be served,I wonder has a single one washed their hands in between. ??!!! Sure doesn't look like it to me. As the same person switches from hostess, to cashier, to busser, then serve your food. KINDA GROSS!
One table in the restaurant and can't get the order right I asked for honey mustard on the side and they put it in the sandwich and in the side
