We arrived on a busy Sunday afternoon and there were 12 people ahead of us waiting to be seated. The hostess seated the two big parties in a timely manner and then seated us. The waitress was at the table immediately. She took our drink orders and left the menus. The food was good. It was Big Boy fare that we knew we'd get when we chose the restaurant. Stopped in this afternoon. Staff were working hard to prep for dinner. Food was excellent quality, fresh salad, good soup. Great service. They said they have new management and bringing things up to snuff.

You haven't lived until you have visited the Clare Big Boy, purchased the breakfast buffet for $7.99 and loaded your plate with a hearty pile of corn nuggets. They sound disgusting but they taste equally delicious. When I went to the Clare Big Boy for breakfast this past Sunday I took three trips to the bar. Let's start with my breakfast i ordered the classic breakfast my scrambled eggs, hash browns and bacon was cold and so was the milk lol hot cakes was warm the butter did melt and the syrup was warm and the sausage links was warm now for my husband's breakfast he ordered the country fried steak & eggs had to ask for extra gravy the country fried steak was way over well done as the biscuits was hard as a rock hash browns was cold as the milk was too lol and the eggs was nowhere near being over easy asked for extra napkins neve... read more

BEWARE they will charge your credit card for items you didn't recieve and then tell you they can't return the money that it has to go through corporate. it is 12 days and counting still no refund. 0/10 do not recomend. but do yourself a favor and if you do go pay cash so they can refund you right then when they overcharge you

Filthy floors, dirty/sticky tables, booth seats cracked, bathrooms disgusting. Food not typical even for Big Boy. Service terrible. Long wait w 1/4 full restaurant. I've never reviewed before, but felt compelled. Very disappointed.
