I wish I could give it a zero. What kind of a restaurant closed its salad bar at 7pm and then doesn't have soup that's on the menu. Place was disgusting and the food was bland. Waitress disappeared for 20 minutes twice and never checked on us. Manager Monica was unconcerned with the horrible service we got and gave me a discount for the soup we never got. I encourage everyone to go elsewhere
We stopped here on our way home this morning for breakfast. The restaurant wasn't busy yet, a few tables were filled, but a lot of seating was open. We were seated by a polite young lady acting as hostess/waitress. It took several minutes for an actual waitress to greet us and take our drink order. Absolutely discusting! Dining room and kitchen are filthy. Food took 1 hour to come out and was cold. Had to ask for drinks and bill.

This Big Boy was filthy, poor service. The bathrooms were disgusting. I have ate at other Big Boys and this one in Clare, Mi gives a bad reputation to the other Big Boys in Michigan.

Absolutely unacceptable and disappointing experience. We have stopped here a few times and found it to be wonderful..... not the case on Memorial Day. They had a long line of people waiting for tables and 8+ tables were left sitting unclean and empty. After 20 minute wait, we decided on the breakfast bar to make things easier (we thought). Stopped on our way north with grandsons 4 and 9. Waited forever to be seated. Waitress finally came and sighed each time we said our drink selection. Got one cup of coffee, no refills because they were out of coffee. Order came 55 minutes after we were seated. Forgot to punch it in. Potato pancakes were nothing more than hash browns in circles. The milkshake that was served was nothing like the picture on the menu, wrong cup, poor presentation, bad taste, the manager was asked if this looked acceptable, she said yes.
