Ordered potato pancakes and eggs over easy. Potato pancakes underdone. Eggs overdone.
This Big Boy was filthy, poor service. The bathrooms were disgusting. I have ate at other Big Boys and this one in Clare, Mi gives a bad reputation to the other Big Boys in Michigan.
Very poor service. Did not get our drinks. Will not be returning. DO NOT COME HERE!!!
Absolutely unacceptable and disappointing experience. We have stopped here a few times and found it to be wonderful..... not the case on Memorial Day. They had a long line of people waiting for tables and 8+ tables were left sitting unclean and empty. After 20 minute wait, we decided on the breakfast bar to make things easier (we thought). The bar had a spoonful of eggs, no bacon, no biscuits, 1 waffle, and 4 pieces of fruit that looked like they had been there for two days. The floor was full of food and garbage. Stopped on our way north with grandsons 4 and 9. Waited forever to be seated. Waitress finally came and sighed each time we said our drink selection. Got one cup of coffee, no refills because they were out of coffee. Order came 55 minutes after we were seated. Forgot to punch it in. Potato pancakes were nothing more than hash browns in circles. The milkshake that was served was nothing like the picture on the menu, wrong cup, poor presentation, bad taste, the manager was asked if this looked acceptable, she said yes.
We stopped here on a road trip from Crystal Mountain. We were trying to decide between Taco Bell and this and I wish we would've chose Taco Bell! Service was slow and food was terrible! Old, greasy fries, salad and soup bar were bad, and took forever to get our food. The only one that enjoyed her food was my 7 year old that had Kraft mac and cheese. Waste of $35, will never go to another big boy again!
This location hasn't gotten any better as of 7/21/2017 - terrible coffee (premium is their claim, but weak watery coffee is what I got) waited almost 30 minutes for my simple breakfast before leaving and they had the audacity to charge me for the coffee and 1 refill - $5.07!!! Called them on 7/25 to talk to the manager and the girl rudely told me she didn't have the time to come to the phone. Time to hit social media about this location and its terrible service and wait-staff.
Dirty, dirty restaurant! Service sucked. This used to be a nice place, disappointed
