It didn’t turn out. The guy came out and he said that it’d be worthwhile to take care of the tune up after our renovation had finished. He did clean out the filter and was open and honest. It was a pleasant experience all around. He was at the home for about 30-40 minutes.
The sales associated who came out was punctual, professional, and very knowledgeable. He did a quick inspection and made recommendation, and within an hour of leaving we had a digital proposal. We were super impressed because their bid was $1k lower than the other bids we had obtained. Their work men were very polite, punctual and professional. I was impressed with Black Lion from day 1. The salesman, Kevin was prompt, professional, answered all of our questions and seemed to genuinely like working for Black Lion. The install guys were also prompt and professional. The job took 2 days and I'm pretty sure the left our basement cleaner than when they arrived. I would HIGHLY recommend Black Lion. I think they charged a fair price and provided spectacular service (which in my book is most times more important than price).
The actual service was great. The plumbers were professional and worked cleanly. Getting a confirming call back was a bit more problematic. I made the appointment about 3 weeks in advance and called to confirm 2 days before. I left 2 messages and didn't get a call back. On the day of the scheduled service, I called again to find out what time the plumbers were coming and as I was on the phone, they were knocking at the door. Our experience with them was such a refreshing change in contrast to our former service provider; they provided us an exceptional service experience, while also being considerably less expensive than our previous provider. They were exceptionally quick to respond to our initial inquiry and were able to get us on their books the next week.
