They were very professional and they stated that they would be able to fix my very old furnace, but because of the busy schedule, they would not be able to get here for a little over a week. I decided to get a refund for this, only because I need it done sooner. This company was very polite and knowledgeable, and I would consider using them in the future.
It went pretty well. I was satisfied with their work. They were kind. They explained what they did. The noise wasn't gone completely so I was not 100% satisfied. It was good value. Their price was quite good.
The technician showed up within the scheduled time window, did the work efficiently, and told me about issues that might need attention in the future. There was no high pressure to buy their annual maintenance plan, but I did since it was much less expensive than the Angie's List purchases I had made (two $163 vouchers--one for the air conditioner and one for the furnace). The annual maintenance plan is only $149 and covers two visits/year so I can get both the furnace and the air conditioner serviced.
I would use them again.
I selected Washington Energy Services for the work, but I am confident that Black Lion would have done a good job as well.
They were here on time and did a great job. I especially appreciated my interaction with their front office. Next time we need a service they perform we will call them. The price was very reasonable compared to what we had been quoted by another company,
I've had Black Lion at my home three or four times over the last few years doing everything from installing a new furnace to routine maintenance. Each time they come I am impressed by the courtesy and knowledge of their service providers. On the most recent visit, I mistakenly wrote down the wrong date and the serviceman (Steve) arrived at an empty house with me 20 minutes away!
