When you need a vet for an acute situation it's important to get in ASAP. Luckily, I've been able to do that here (and it's the reason I initially came to BVAH after having been with another practice for nearly 20 years). Dr. Spain was our vet for this most recent visit, and he and his assistant were very caring, gentle and thorough with my dog. I've been very happy with the change and plan to stay at this practice.
We met Dr. Spain and what an amazing experience. We haven't been happy with the care our dog was getting at our previous vet so we made an appointment with BVAH. Dr. Spain took the time to look over our dog thoroughly before explaining what our options were. It's only been 24 hours and our dog is already feeling better. We feel like we are finally on the right track to a healthy, happy pet again. Thank you Dr. Spain.
These vets are soooooo caring. Since returning to OP, I have taken my two dogs to this group of professionals for the last 7 years. My pets are now elderly, so I am at the hospital pretty often. I think the exams are thorough. My pets are treated with kindness and concern. I am given treatment options, with each one being discussed for outcomes and cost. We recently moved from out of state and came to BVAH on recommendation for our terrier dog. Every appointment we've had has exceeded our expectations! There is basically no waiting, and everyone working here are so friendly. We have utilized many of their services, wellness exams, grooming, shots and even oral surgery, and you continue to offer great service for a very fair cost. Your facility has easy parking, and is always clean. And, I have found you to be a much better deal than the large, corporate clinics in town.
Excellent vets and caring staff!! I have experienced their care of my aging Lab Mix and also a very sick little kitten. I am a surgeon so I have high expectations, and they were met and exceeded by the Doctors and Techs at Blue Valley. Highly recommended and worth a drive!!
These people are great! They love your animals just like you do, they take the time to listen and very friendly!! A definite recommend.
Dr. Schreiber is phenomenal! I wish people would get this caliber of care from their healthcare providers! Dr. Leimer saw my kitty first and collaborated with Dr. Schreiber on her oral health needs. He performed her surgery. During the procedure he called me several times to keep me updated on how she's doing. He also called me the next day to check on her. Was looking for a new vet when our old one raised the prices past what we were willing to pay, and we have definitely found a place we love. Having 5 pets, we have seen two of the Veterinarians and they have both been wonderful. The front desk staff is always quick and attentive and we have not had to worry about long wait periods. Dr. Spain found a very specialized solution for an ailment specific to our breed of dog. We had spent thousands with previous doctors and even had a surgery that never solved the problem. We explained our situation to Dr. Spain and he sought out a somewhat easy solution. Dr. Spain is not only passionate about what he does, he genuinely cares about his patients and has a thirst for knowledge and expertise.
