My dog is a really playful dog and loves people. Whenever we leave him at someone else's house for babysitting hi is fine but as soon as we come to the animal hospital he starts shaking. They probably left him in the crate the whole day.

We are new to the area and we visited to bring our dog in for routine shots and a check up. A vet tech met us in our room, took our dog to the back for a set of shots, brought her back and took my credit card for payment. I had questions for the veterinarian who was nowhere to be seen. Had a few questions regarding a few patches on our pup's skin that were missing some hair. The vet tech's response was, "Yeah, I mean it's definitely some kind of hair loss." It was the most awful, traumatic experience of my entire life. This place should be put out of business because they have no idea what they are doing or how to run a veterinary hospital. The "customer service" we received was cruel and heartless, we were overcharged, NOTHING was done to fix the issue, and their main veterinary just didn't seem to care just charge me with no results. I'm sorry my sweet dog went through their torture for weeks upon weeks in that disgusting place and I am still upset about the entire experience... read more

This clinic is horrific, the staff has zero clue on anything. Not only did a staff member shave the wrong leg, the surgeon didn't even double check and did surgery on the wrong leg!! We've had soo many clueless staff member conversations this clinic is a mess. Yes they covered the cost of both surgeries ( wrong leg and actual hurt leg) but 23 weeks of hell isn't worth it.

They recommend declaws here, last I went. Even on adult and senior cats... don't go to a place that still uses barbaric practices. I will not respond to any business replies as this is an app for customers to share our experiences, not for you to try a PR move.

Our hospital does provide state of the art declawing as we use a laser, significant amount of pain control and we ensure that the patients comfort from the time they enter our hospital to the time they leave the hospital. The staff is awesome and for the most part we had a good experience with Blue Valley Animal Hospital; however, the management seems out of touch with their clients. We used this company for veterinary, boarding and day care but recently we got a call institution a $75 fee for late pickup. Competitors charge $1 per minute or something reasonable but we were informed of a flat $75 fee which is ridiculous. We will be taking our business elsewhere where empathy and reasonably policies exist.

A year ago I would have given them five stars, no longer. They have had some staff turnover and, needless to say, I am no longer a satisfied customer. The front desk staff is uncaring and rude when I call. They also have a new groomer and it is now impossible to get in for an appointment without waiting a month or longer. Their old groomer was able to get us in within a week or two. When I asked about this, the front desk said "our new groomer brought her own clientele!" We used Blue Valley for years and loved the original vet. Unfortunately our experience has not been the same with the newer vets here. Its a long story but our Collie (although older) basically died because of their lack of care overnight on a holiday weekend. Its too horrible of a story to go into here but lets just say we were heartbroken and appalled.

Very disappointed in the service and front office staff. I had schedule for my dog to have shots and flea medicine administered when I dropped her off for the day. I was told that the cost of everything was $ 119.00 and went I went to pick up my dog my bill was $159.00 They were also suppose to give my dog flea medicine when she was dropped off for the day which was never done.
