There were many logistical problems in trying to sort care for my Mum, but Bluebird were really understanding and flexible enabling what we needed to be put in place very quickly. As to our live-in carer, I can’t praise her highly enough, she went way beyond the call of duty caring for my Mum but in supporting me as well. I will be eternally grateful for her help.

Bluebird has been very helpful in setting up daily care with less than 48 hours notice. The manager has listened to all our concerns and always reported back to me and the carers have been very sensitive to the situation which has been made increasingly difficult as none of the family can visit and support the client due to the Covid pandemic. The client is much happier and feels more in control of her life and her family feel confident about her safety and well being. I would certainly recommend Bluebird to others.

The team at Bluebird were fantastic in supporting my 85-year-old mother, who suffered a broken femur and shoulder in April 2020, and my father (who has dementia). They worked closely with me and the hospital to ensure Mum's discharge was smooth and met with family members, including my dad, prior to Mum leaving hospital to really understand our needs and preferences. We have taken Mum out of London during this difficult time, sadly this means that she is missing her twice weekly carer who Mum has become very fond of her. Mum has been asking after her, she is missing London and her friends of which she counts her carer as one, she can't wait to get back to London and pick up her old life. Bluebird Care Wandsworth; are a delight to work with. They are literally the best service if you want to remain independent. They have enabled myself and the neighbours, not to worry my cousin might need some help. At 99 you can be frail, however, Bluebird Care, help her get out of bed, down the stairs, wash, prepare lunch, coordinate with the neighbours and put her in bed in the evening. I found both the assessment by Bluebird and the two occasions I enjoyed 'respite' very relaxing, pleasant, reassuring experiences. At the assessment my husband and I felt at ease, we could talk freely about the circumstances which make this sort of care necessary. There was no time pressure. We could explain what kind of person my husband is, what are his needs when being looked after by the agency, what are his interests, what does he hope from the carer. Overall the carers have been very kind, caring and supportive, they have ensured that medication has been administered as prescribed and prepared meals etc. They have been respectful of privacy and encouraged Mum to get up, and wash and mobilise as much as possible. Bluebird Care - both in terms of the actual carers and the back office/admin/support- are truly amazing. I have very rarely come across any organisation with such high standards, customer service and total professionalism. We have been extremely happy with the overall care provided by this agency. The customer service manager has been truly outstanding in interfacing between our mother and us. She consistently shows genuine care and concern in a timely manner and has been responsive to any needs brought to her attention.
