For our family, staying in the 2nd-floor villa in Coronado was a luxury. You're steps from the Hotel Del and right along Orange Ave where restaurants and shops are located. It was a pleasure to stroll to the beach or dinner. The villa was tastefully renovated and decorated. Bluewater was an organized, responsive and friendly host. We stayed for a week with 6 adults and 1 toddler and had had a wonderful time! The location cannot be beat. So close to a fabulous beach (with playground if you have kiddos!) and walkable to many shops and restaurants. We explored all over San Diego (easy to get everywhere from the property), but we loved our time spent in La Jolla shores the most. It was a very great stay for a family of 3. It wasn’t too big, it wasn’t too small, so the stay felt right at home. It is so nearby the beach you can smell the sea from home.
Our family had a wonderful stay! We loved the close proximity to both the beach and the bay for our little ones. Everything is walking distance, quick drive to Sea World! We loved our time in San Diego!

I would not recommend staying here. The property itself was fine, great location but the property management was unaccommodating and hard to work with. I’ve never left a negative review in 8 years but this was just poor. They’ve made little to no effort to return my jewelry that was left on the counter. I need to file a police report for the insurance claim and they’re insisting that I don’t. Only two keys were given which made logistics with a large family tough. Everything about this place was perfect! We were pleased from the minute we walked in. The location was exactly where we wanted to be. We never used our car, we walked everywhere. The garage was a great size, we fit two four-runners. The place was nicely furnished and felt like home. The kitchen had plenty of cabinets, had everything you would need to cook, and there was a cute welcome package with goodies waiting for us that we enjoyed. No complaints on this house whatsoever - PERFECT!
