Great location updated and clean enjoyed our stay Located convenient to restaurants and a short walk to the beach. Updated bathrooms and kitchen very clean and beds were very comfortable. The major downfall of unit 210 was a very small uncomfortable sofa with covered springs basically when pulled out. Not enough comfortable seating in main living area. Also hot water was intermittent even after maintenance came. Overall nice place.
The Perfect Location The location was incredible! It is the perfect location in the middle of the Boardwalk on Mission Beach and it is ideal that it is ground level. It is wonderful that the water is so close that we able to let our daughter play without needing to stay down with her on the beach the entire time she wanted to be there. We did watch carefully from the patio but at least we knew that we could run there in less than 60 seconds if she needed us. I wouldn't do this with certain kids unless they are "rule follows"... read more

Excellent stay over the 4th of July I'm surprised to read the negative review on here. My family had a terrific stay at this place over the 4th of July week in 2014. It was 4 adults and 3 kids and the place was perfect. I thought it looked exactly like the photos, and was even pleasantly surprised to find it had air conditioning (which was not advertised anywhere, and even the property management company - Bluewater Vacation - said it didn't have AC). Spacious home, spectacular view We were a group of two families, with four adults and four teenage boys. This home provided ample space for all of us. The best thing about it, however, was the spectacular view of the beach. We enjoyed the front balcony immensely. Perfect Casita I come to La Jolla often and this was the first time not in a hotel. So glad I chose this cottage as it is right in the middle of town and the beautiful cove. Grab a glass of wine and stroll to cove for sunset, walk up the other direction and enjoy a fabulous gelato. Location can't be beat! Fantastic stay in San Diego San Diego is anyhow a exciting location and the apartment was an excellent choice to feel comfortable during the whole 14 days. Enough room, well equipped (the laundry machine helped to keep clean beach towels), nice furniture and only a few yards to the beach as a few mentioned advantages. Nice restaurants in the area, a good super market and lots of shopping opportunities completed the vacation. We will certainly repeat this in a few years.
Perfect!! The home is VERY well appointed with top of the line appliances and furnishings. The view is beautiful and we watched fireworks of 5 locations from the patio. The home is bigger than it looks in pictures and perfectly clean. It is obvious the owners want their guests to enjoy a carefree vacation. We loved our stay and highly recommend it to others! Bluewater Properties who handle the rental exceed service expectations from the booking process throughout the stay.
A place to remember! This place had everything we needed and then some! We originally rented another property and it flooded one week before our arrival date. I am so glad we ended up staying at this property instead. It was literally the BEST vacation ever and the location was absolute perfection!!! The house had every amenity you could need and it was spotless.
