Love the ambience, unique drinks and food for Brunch. My new favorite place in Sarasota.
A well designed restaurant with a fresh menu and unique takes on favorites. The cocktails were well mixed and service was great.
Food was very good, ambiance was nice. It does get very loud. Service is not very good took for ever to get drinks.
This was our second visit to this restaurant, which just opened over 1 month ago. On our first visit, we ate outside which was very enjoyable and the food was so delicious and varied, we knew we'd be back soon. This visit, since we were entertaining friends and the outside tables only seat 2, we made a reservation for inside. The hostess was wonderful in trying to accommodate our request to sit in a "quieter section of the restaurant" but, the restaurant is so vibrant, there really isn't a quiet section. Our server spoke so softly that neither of us could understand him. We communicated that to him, but it did not make a difference.
Really had a great meal, very good service. We all enjoyed the experience and the food. Only drawback is how loud it is. They would do well to put some sound deafening panels in the place.
This was the second visit to Boca for us and this time we had guests with us. The food was fantastic, the variety is amazing. We were lucky to get Elsa as our waitress. She is a real gem. Courteous, friendly, professional and very helpful. She is a real asset for the Kona Grill.
we were seated upstairs at our request so it would be quieter. unfortunately air conditioners were blowing on us full blast and there was no escape!
Our server was very nice, although I asked about ordering a small salad or half salad from what was offered on the menu and he was was kind of at a loss for an answer and responded with 'ah no we don't do that', the shrimp and grits I ordered had a very fishy overtones and the grits were hard and not completely cooked also I felt verall it was a tad pricey for what was offered as the entrée I just described Plus the raspberry Berliner came to over $50
