Dr. Gilbert is the best! My hip replacement was so well done, it was hard to remember that it was major surgery! I was able to schedule the procedure within a week, was using a walker within the same day, and did not need a cane after day 10. The hospital staff was caring, kind and professional. Given the opportunity, I’d shout the merits of Dr Gilbert, his PA, Al, and his staff from the rooftops!
I recommend Dr. Gilbert to all people who need a hip replacement. I have had both hips replaced by Dr. Gilbert and I feel like a new person. I have had no pain like I did before. In fact I just had my check up for my left hip which was replaced 8/2020 and I feel great & doing great! I feel like a new person! Dr. Gilbert explains everything & has a very positive attitude that gives you confidence & sets you at ease. Thank you !
Dr Gilbert had replaced my left hip 4 years ago. It healed perfectly. He replaced my right knee this week on Monday and I am walking with no pain, 3 days later, on Thursday. I had been told by others that my knee repair would hurt more than my hip. I have very little pain. I have much less pain after 3 days than I had before the surgery. On 6/17/20,Dr. Gilbert performed a right hip replacement for me which has improved the quality of my life dramatically. Besides carrying out tasks of every day life, I now can walk/hike 4-5 miles daily... with zero pain. If you are in need of this type of surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Gilbert. He can be described as brilliant, confident and compassionate. Not only is Dr. Gilbert a gifted surgeon, he is a great human being.
Dr. Gilbert performed two complete hip replacements on me. I couldn't be happier with the results. After 4 months, I'm walking between 5 to 7 miles each day! He's a great Doctor.

Dr. Gilbert performed right hip replacement and then I returned for left. I can walk again upright and without pain. He is an excellent surgeon. He has a no nonsense personality and is very confident, which I appreciate. My husband is now seeing Dr. Gilbert for his knee.
