I am now a very happy man thanks to Dr. Gilbert. He surgically replaced both of my extremely arthritic and painful hips and now I am literally jumping with joy! Both surgeries went without any complications and I was back home the next day on both occasions. Thanks Dr. Gilbert!

Dr. Gilbert is an excellent choice if you need hip or knee replacement. His staff is very knowledgeable. The night before my procedure; he called me to make sure I was ready for the next day, and asked if I had any last minute questions. I’ve recommended him to several friends and acquaintances when they ask who did my hip replacement.

Dr. Gilbert is so friendly and helpful. He did my right knee surgery a few years ago and it's been perfect since then. When I had pain in my left knee this past week, I went to him and he's helped me again - thank goodness my knee is good - just some inflammation that will soon be okay. Thanks to Dr. Gilbert, I have my quality of life back!! I had both of my hips replaced in 2017, and by the beginning of 2018, I was back to spinning, swimming and lifting weights - all without any pain! I was so pleased with my surgery, that I referred my Mom to his office so she could have her one bad hip replaced. Now she's back to walking and doing serious mileage again - 3+ miles daily at 70+ years of age. Thanks Dr. Gilbert - you are the best!

Dr. Gilbert, Dr. Teel and the entire staff at Emerge Ortho (Raleigh) are wonderful. I had a total hip replacement and from day 1 (consultation and diagnosis) everybody was caring and informative. They have a mobile app that was very helpful to me; I was able to see exactly what would be done, make plans for before and after surgery, confirm office and therapy appointments, and more. Speaking of their physical therapy dept., those guys are great! Challenging, but wonderful and I'm walking!!!!
