Dr. Gilbert replaced my knee four months ago, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. It’s still amazing to me that I can walk and do regular activities now with no pain. Dr. Gilbert is not only a skilled surgeon, but he also excels at explaining procedures, answering questions, and calming fears. I can’t say enough good things about him and the whole EmergeOrtho team!
Dr. Gilbert and his staff are members of a five star organization. I was in the hospital only one night, and I had very little pain during the complete process, including the physical therapy ... I took only one pain pill during the 3 month recovery, at which time I returned to doubles tennis 2 times per week at age 81.
One year follow up on hip and knee replacement
Today I saw Dr. Gilbert for my year check-up after my total knee replacement surgery. After reviewing the x-rays he told me everything looked great! That's when I told him everything is great! I told him how grateful I was that he had given me back my active life and extended my work years. As an Event Consultant, I am on my feet all the time, so being able to stand tall, walking pain free is AWESOME!
Thanks to this humble ‘rockstar’ surgeon , I had regained full mobility of my right hip joint and was immediately pain free after suffering for many years. I don't claim to be anymore knowledgeable about the procedure or technique used than the average person. However, I will state, 3 hours Post-Op I was able to walk 10 yards without any assistance. No Walker, No Cane, Nobody but me and my new hip. Oh yeah, I have the video to prove it! 1st total hip replacement surgery,

Dr. Gilbert replaced both of my hips, one within a year of the other. I am pain-free and active! Dr. Gilbert and his staff get 5 stars from me!
