Best chicken soup ever! Can’t beat the authenticity. A bit pricey but worth the treat.

Second time at Brooklyn Diner. Good food. Ample portions. Great waiters. Right across the street from most Broadway theaters, so great for pro matinee lunch or dinner before the show.

Brooklyn Diner is a good breakfast place right in the heart of Times Square. It's pricey because it's location but you can be in and out with a tasty omelette any day of the week. Can be crowded.

Disappointed that they were out of pastrami but we enjoyed cheesecake, coconut cake, chicken soup and matzo ball soup.

Usually the food is excellent - the fries had changed - the oil tasted rancid - just like old diner fries - no herbs like they used have. Nervous about returning!

Fun- comfort food. A bit noisy but food is plentiful and desserts are unbelievable. Chicken pot pie is huge and delicious!

Brooklyn Diner is a retro diner, with all sorts of comfort food. I had the Kale salad with anchovies and chicken paillard (sp?), which was delicious. They gave me about 8 oz of chicken which was a lot and I came out of there stuffed. Just a cool place to go for lunch.

Noisy but quick pre-theater and location is very convenient Would not recommend the hamburger, only taste was the aoli on the roll, veggie burger was better

Outstanding location for pre-matinee lunch in Theater District but we'd love to try it for early dinner the next time we have a show in the evening. My wife and I often come up to NY from DC by train, see a show in the afternoon and then go back to DC. This will become our number 1 place for a lunch prior to the theater. We didn't order it but we saw the chicken pot pie on another table and we're ready for next visit.
