Whisked to our table, fed, and sent enroute with plenty of time to make our show. Worlds largest chicken pot pie with huge chunks of chicken, great crust and sauce. Cuban chicken is amazing. So was liquid and solid strawberry cheesecakes with chocolate. Hard to know which was better.
great place to dine when in the theatre district
First time there for pre theater lunch. Huge portions, delicious food. Tables are set very close to each other. Noise level is high. Recommend Chinese chicken salad.
I am so glad to have discovered this gem! The food was excellent. The menu offered a nice variety of delicious choices. The service was superb: everyone from the hostess to the wait staff to the manager, who came to ask how everything was, was friendly and helpful. I met a large group and they were ready for us with the tables set up, etc. I hope to return soon to try the othe delicious choices on the menu!
The food was great-the service was terrific. My husband put the restaurant on the "we will be coming back list". I had the lobster salad. Big chucks of lobster and no mayo. It was delicious! I treated myself to a chocolate egg cream.
It is a very clean diner just in the heart of Theater District of New York. Nice place, friendly staff generally except a guy who brings the plates from the kitchen. He just puts the plates in front of us as if he throws them. They end the brunch a bit early, at 11:30AM so be aware of it. You have to plan ahead of time. The food is expensive for the quality of the food you eat when the bill comes.
This was our first visit to the Brooklyn Diner in Times Square, although we have eaten many times at their other midtown location. The food and service were both very good, with generous portions at reasonable prices (for a New York City restaurant). The menu is varied, offering familiar American fare. The noise level was much quieter than at the other location--less diner-like, with more spacious seating. We were pleased to discover that reservations are taken at this location. We enjoyed a very nice meal here.
Loved the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs! Terrific homemade jelly! Great place for a good breakfast with fresh, colorful food.
This was our first time at the Time Square Brooklyn Diner, we have been to the Carnegie Hall one before and the Time Square is much nicer inside. Food was great, top quality and unique versions of French toast and pancakes. Everything very fresh tasting and delicious. Service was very attentive and friendly. It is expensive, breakfast for 6 was 150 dollars so it is a special occasion diner!
