I chose the diner because it is near the theater where Matilda is playing and because one of their featured dished shown on the web site is mac and cheese, my granddaughter's favorite. Their mac and cheese was not to her liking; it was too salty with a layer of inedible crust and tasted as though it was made with Parmesan rather than cheddar. The chicken pot pie was delicious, with a nice crust, well-cooked (not mushy) vegetables and chunks of white meat chicken. But again, too much salt was used. Nice waiter.
Great location in Times Square. Good for pre-show dinner
Good solid reliable comfort food!
Really enjoyed the Tony Bennett French toast.
Servers should write down the order - or else, please be sure to get it right.
Very friendly place!! Good for a quick bite...not crowed at all, but seating was VERY tight!!! Food was ok. I would rather go here for lunch than a dinner. Service was good waiter and staff were very attentive...so try it for lunch or a quick dinner! It was fine for us that evening, we had a show and they were very accommodating. Portions are very generous!!

Gracious greeting on a busy Saturday evening, reservation was in order and waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Good New York food - far above diner quality. We made reservations to make sure we got a table for breakfast before work, and we were welcomed and started off great. However, the food was not great, the presentation was severely lacking, the service was strained, and for the prices they charge, should have been a better dining experience all the way around. We'll go back, just to give them a chance to redeem themselves, and i... read more
