You can't go wrong with this gem. From the moment you walk in you're made to feel welcome. Chris, the daytime manager is terrific. The staff are friendly and professional, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is pure NYC. When in doubt, make it a Brooklyn Diner day out.
The food was good but no hot chocolate or turkey bacon/sausage.
I had dined many times at the Brooklyn Diner on 57th. That was truly a diner. This Brooklyn Diner in the Theatre District was much more of a restaurant. I had made my reservation on Open Table asking for a booth, When we checked in 20 minutes early, the hostess said it would be a 10 minute wait for the booth. We did not need to ask for the booth. The service was excellent. The food was good, and overall a good experience.
Awesome place to dine in nyc!!!! fantastic food and fun!
Nice upscale diner with good food and service. Close to everything in Manhattan.
Always a reliable, delicious, and comfortable experience. Good, friendly service by handsome actor types.

I'm gluten free so my meal was only mediocre, but I was happy because my dad was happy. Joel was our server and quite delightful. He did not blink an eye when my dad declared that the egg cream needed more chocolate syr... read more
Had a great breakfast at the Carnegie Hall location (not Times Square -oops) Iconic diner had crisp white tablecloths, Sunday morning it was packed but everything moved quick and coffee was kept refilled large servings. Food was good!
Had a reservation for dinner before the show I was going to see and showed up a little early. Busy place on a Saturday night, so the girl at the front desk told me I could wait by the bar while they were getting my table ready. Ended up just staying and eating at the bar since I was bach'ing it that night. Food was great and the service by the bartenders was very attentive. Going back for sure!
