Better than the usual diner fare for sure. Portions are ample and the service was excellent. Waiter was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant manager came by at least twice to make sure that we were happy.

Great food, service, and location. Needs a kids menu.

We took our two kids here (5 and 8 yrs old) pre theatre. They don't have a kids menu but our server told us about several things they would make special for kids. Our kids are picky but they each easily found something they wanted. For adults the lasagna and Shellys mac and cheese were to die for!

While we all thought the food was good and rather tasty, we were definitely disappointed that the menu was not a typical "diner" which was what we expected. Also, beware if you have children. There is not a children's menu and the entree portions are rather large.

It was very noisy, but very friendly. The service was very good as was the food.

Had dinner at the Broadway Dinner based on finding it through OpenTable. Although we must have walked past it a dozen times over years given it's location almost in the middle of Times Square. Service was very attentive and fast. Although it took a while to get the bill. Ceaser salad was good with the right amount of garlic. The chicken pot pie was very good. It could easily have fed two. Although, it was just a tad on the bland side. Could have used a little more salt. All-in-all - a good meal.

We had a great time at the Brooklyn Diner. They served classic NY dishes in a very nice atmosphere. The waiter was extremely polite and attentive and the food was very good. It was a tad pricey for lunch but it was, after all Times Square!

I have been coming to both Brooklyn Diners sincethey opened and can honestly say they are the best in their neighborhoods for great service, food and enormous warmth. The name Diner is a mis-nomer; it is somuch moreand betterthan a diner. we love it.the Chinest Chicken salad is addictive, as is their hot fudgesundae. Best burgers in town, and the macaroni and cheeseand chicken pot pie are to die for. They are great with kids, and truly care about everybody.

we enjoyed the Brooklyn Diner very much and although the word "Diner: did evoke visions of red formica table tops and juke boxes, the white table cloths and range of food were a very pleasant surprise. this is Diner gone upscale and we will return.
