Don't be fooled by the name. Besides the fact that there are some boths, and a bar-seating arrangement on one side, this is not really a diner. The food was OK, but overpriced. 3$ would be right, as for lunch we spent an average of $30/pp including the 18% they tack on. That was with 5 little kids and only 2 adults! Menu had a lot of nice choices. Recommend the thin pizza.

1st time at The Brooklyn Diner. Great location. Very nicely surprised by the old school Diner decor. Food was very nice too. Ordered the Lobster Roll, which was wonderful with big chuncky pieces of lobster. Only drawback is the price of "market value" of $30, but it was delicious so can't really complain.

An upscale version of the usual diner with the prices to match. I brought my teens here because I was supposed to have a client meeting with them in tow, but plans changed. I would have chosen something less expensive for my kids, but they did enjoy the food and the ambiance. I imagine it's great for client meetings.

The times Square location is definitely more cozy than the midtown location. Loved the feeling of being in an old fashioned railway car when seated at a booth. The cinnamon raisin walnut french toast was tremendous. Service was attentive, but not intrusive. Will definitely return.

When you first walk in you are faced with some of their pies. As you are drooling and you are led through the restaurant to your seat, you see all the entrees that others are eating. This leaves you with a terrible choice: eat a big meal with no room for dessert, or just go right to the dessert. I chose the former. The lasagna pie was just to die for. Next time I have to go to just eat dessert.
