enjoyed the food- not our 1st time there.This time we took a small group was perfect something for everyone.
I had a reservation for breakfast and was promptly seated. Unfortunately, when I was ordering, I found out my first choice on the menu had stopped being served permanently a week ago. So I decided to try the kishke, which was tasty, with my three soft scrambled eggs. I loved the homemade strawberry jam that was served with my raisin pineapple bran muffin.

This is a great place to eat in Times Square. Unlike many of its competitors, this restaurant received an "A" on its restaurant inspection. In addition, the food is amazing!
This is a handy place to know about in the Times Square area. We were seated on time, had a fabulous waitress who was friendly, attentive, and responsive. The chicken pot pie runs out quickly (we got the last one and were there at 6:30 pm) but we also had the pizza and burger/fries. It was all terrific! Portions are huge so sharing an appetizer, side and dessert should be part of your plan.
Food is consistently solid...more so than ou would think from a times square outpost of a mini chain.
excellent dinner - great for pre-theater - large portions, good home style familar food. The desserts are wonderful!
Visited on January 22, 2011. Took my son there for his 18th birthday. He had the fried chicken and waffle and I had a thin crust pizza. Both dishes were extremely good. I would go back there again and recommend to anyone looking for a nice and reasonable place to eat.
Was pleasantly surprised by the food, service, etc.
