I understand this is in prime real estate (off Times Square), but lack of kids menu and exhorbitant high prices ($19 for a hot dog, although it was enormous) made the experience very disappointing. Waiter was not very friendly. We were told that the corned beef and pastrami were not available that evening. That's ridiculous for a diner restaurant in New York, especially one that claims it has Brooklyn eats. Had the pot roast and kugel; very tasty but portion was extremely small for the $20 price tag. Didn't even come with a ... read more

Two of dishes had to be sent back because they were cold - not just room temperature, but refrigerator cold. The soup was cold. The wrong bread was used on the sandwiches. I had chicken with bacon, gorgonzola cheese and bacon. The bacon was partially cooked; had the slightest bit of russian dressing on bread was dry and the sandwich was beyond cold. As it was, the portion of lobster was small, underdressed, on a dried out roll. Very disappointing. The waitress, however, somewhat redeemed the experience by her sunny attitude and atten... read more

We thought the food was way overpriced for its taste and what you got. $19.00 for a hamburger was just too much to pay. We waited a very long time for our food as well.

Used to be a staple choice, not anymore. Cheapened the 18 Vegetable Salad to an unappealing overpriced mess.

We booked a table for 11:30 on a Sunday morning and were not able to order breakfast or brunch. Who stops serving breakfast at 11:30 on Sunday mornings?
