Why would a New Yorker eat here? And how dangerous to claim the best burger in New York. Instead, cold (as were the fries and onion strings), dry and tasteless (where was the salt?) The pea soup is okay but the brown color is off-putting. The one bright spot was a competent and smiling waitress. In the crush of tourists I don't see how she managed to give such good service.

I can't comment on the food, etc because they screwed up our reservation and gave out table away. We went there for breakfast, had a reservation specifically for breakfast and then when we went they refused to serve breakfast because it was 10 minutes after their deadline. Surely they could have cooked the food my kids wanted!! We were not happy at all. It was an atrocious move.

We got there at 11:35 for what we thought was brunch/breakfast but they have stopped serving breakfast at 11:30 am and refused to accomodate us, even though they have several breakfast items in combinations with lunch items, so we were told "order the salmon omellete without the salmon" or the chicken with waffles without the chicken. Service was also slow and not that friendly. We would have left, but we only had an hour before leaving NYC and it was pouring...

It was okay, but not nearly as good as the terrific 57th Street Brooklyn Diner, which remains one of my favorite NYC restaurants.

Overpriced "hot spot" with terrible service. Eggs took over 30 minutes to come out... half of our order was wrong. Food was fine, but for that price and service, we won't be back.

Convenient and not expensive option in theater district. Food is OK, portions tend to be large. However, service is slow, kitchen is slower and the capuccino is cold.

I found the food to be mediocre and overpriced. They do not have a childrens' menu (I would not recommend it for families). The Stardust Diner a few blocks over is much, much better with a fantastic atmosphere!
