Excellent service from Chris Food was really tasty
Brooklyn Diner is very convenient when we have Carnegie Hall tickets. I tried the hanger steak. It was cooked as I asked, but rather tough. You can't go wrong with the chicken pot pie if they haven't run out. The service was particularly good. It wasn't too busy, so the noise level was tolerable. It can become deafening.

Remember to book , staff , food was great , like a old school diner , should promote diner bit more especially at corner of 7th avenue
A halfblock from our hotel - perfect for breakfast before heading for the airport. It's a sweet little diner at 7th Ave. and 57th St. It did get pretty noisy inside. We had six people in our party and so we had a variety of items - one of my only complaints was that the yolks in the poached eggs that came with my Eggs Benedict didn't ooze - they were hard cooked. Another was the fried potatoes - large cubes of fried potato - I would have been happier with hash browns or home fries.
Great diner in the heart of New York with tasty, high quality food. Great service to top it off!
What a fun place! The chicken pot pie is a “must have.” Best and biggest I have ever had. The pastrami sandwich was good, but not worth the price, especially since it does not come with fries.

Very good French fries and chocolate shake not too sweet and very chocolatey. Very nice waiter.
