This is a classic dinner in the middle of Midtown, just south of Central Park. The fact that it takes reservations is a great advantage over similar restaurants. The food is consistent with the best of NY diners in variety and quality. Service is great. A great value.
Best pastrami ever! Loud, bustling restaurant! Wait staff were efficient and fast! Delicious meal! Hot apple cider was really good too!

We stumbled upon this place as we were staying in a nearby hotel and needed to grab a quick bite on our way to catch a carriage ride at Central Park. We were looking for something fast, easy, and frankly we weren’t expecting much. Wow did we find a gem!! The pastrami reuben melted in my mouth. Chewing was optional. My wife had the bacon cheeseburger and she said the bacon was crispy and it he burger delicious. We had some extra time kill so we ordered a piece of the cheesecake to share. That was delicious!!
