Ticipal American diner, delicious local recipes, nice experience
Slow service and breakfast all day is not what you think. No pancakes nor French toasts for dinner.
Our server was fantastic and the diner itself is very nice. The vegetarian options are really non-existent though so I couldn't give a better review on the food. I would not recommend to a vegetarian/vegan friend as the only real options for them are off the appetizer menu. The appetizers are not large enough to use as an entree.
I love Brooklyn Diner! Even though the food has gone downhill over the years, it is still better than most local diners to this area. The Hosts and waiters are wonderful and the waitstaff top rate. I miss some of the special touches that used to make this place a cut above the rest like the candy rimmed Sunshine Shake or the orange zest on the blueberry pancakes, little things like that. I will still return as I have for over 20 years and hope the food doesn’t decline further.

Food was outstanding. Waiter, Hans, was the best. Loved everything.
The host was very friendly and welcoming. The wait staff and servers were professional and courteous. The food was very delicious. Service was quick and efficient, and allowed us to arrive at our event at Carnegie Hall on time.
Brooklyn Diner was a fun place to eat with my kids before catching a show. Food was good. Pot Pie was HUGE but delicious. Kids had Steak Frites and Burger and both were very happy with their choices. Service was attentive. Restaurant was clean.
