Buffalo Small Animal Hospital opened its doors over 100 years ago to provide affordable, high-quality healthcare and advice for our city's animals. Due to the popularity of pets as household companions, the hospital went through many changes to accommodate our clients' needs. As the horse stalls turned into exam rooms and the hay lofts turned into boarding facilities, we developed our practice to serve Buffalo's beloved dogs and cats.

I've been going to BSAH for many many years - My numerous dogs and cats have had top notch care and the Doctors and other support staff are the best. I've recommended the business to various friends and they love it too. Thank you BSAH for taking such good care of all my 4 legged kids...
Not at all happy with the grooming service at this clinic. What made me more upset about the situation is instead of taking into consideration that my dog looked like crap when I picked him up, they still wanted to charge me almost full price (50.00) for just the cut. No bath, nothing. I understand that they wanted to ensure my dog was safe as well as their staff considering my dog is not yet comfortable with his grooming, but instead of just stopping when my dog was giving them a hard time they decided to continue and send... read more

We switched to Buffalo Small Animal a few years back from our previous vet and have been happy ever since. The staff is very friendly and efficient! Our dogs get their vet care and have also gotten groomed here and we've never been let down. We're really glad we switched!
I was pleasantly surprised to see a report card pin-pointing behaviors while my pet was being boarded...great idea and very helpful.
This place had a bad reputation for valid reasons for a long time. It is LIGHT YEARS better than ever. They're current with social media, technology, communications. Their staff is so friendly-finally- their grooming is affordable and very personal. They know their patients and owners alike. It's so transparent too, there's a room to go in to dialog and get some privacy, you can see in the treatment area...it's just so much better!
