Order placed May 18 for a 20"x20" cabinet door. Excuses started 1st week of July after inquiring. subsequent 2 excuses make it obvious they are lying. They don't return calls, emails can't go through to them, they are a sham of a business. 12 weeks later and they still have their head in the sand regarding this order. 8/9/23
BUYER BEWARE. If I could give them 0 stars that would be a complement. I ordered one simple unfinished mdf door from this company 20 weeks ago and still waiting. They are not reputable and constantly give you excuses. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS BUSINESS!
Horrible, horrible company. We were renovating our kitchen in anticipation of putting our house on the market. We put in an order for approximately 40 cabinet doors/drawer fronts in Feb/March, 2023 and were told to expect delivery by April 1, but definitely no later than May 1. Every week our contractor called and every week was told they would ship on Monday. They even sent us photos of an order, that was allegedly ours to placate us. Cabinet Door World is an absolute nightmare to deal with and by FAR the worst experience we've had during our numerous renovations over the years. We ordered cabinets from them end of October 2022, and as of today, 5 MONTHS LATER, we still have received nothing. They do not answer the phone so it's impossible to actually speak to a person, and emailing back and forth to try to get information will get you either no response, vague answers, or broken promises. We currently have an order with them and attempting to correspond with them is next to impossible. They don't answer their phone, and responses to emails are sporadic at best. Here's hoping their work quality is better than their customer service but wanted to warn off others prior to buying from these people.
I placed an order in July for cabinet doors and soft close hinges. Although I did not receive my order until October, the order seems to be fine. However, they did not include the soft close hinges. When I reached out several times I hadn't heard back but was finally able to get someone on the phone. They said they don't have them and can't tell me when they'll get them. I asked for a refund for the hinges since I now have to buy them elsewhere to install my product. They told me they don't refund money. That's their "policy... read more
Unfortunately, I didn't see the reviews on Yelp before. It would have saved a lot of effort and saved a nearly year project on cabinet doors. I had an extremely bad experience with bestcabinetdoors.com / cabinetdoorworld.com vendor in NC. It took them 14 weeks to make cabinet doors and in the end, they didn't do a stain match. They have refused to fix it. Their website is bestcabinetdoors.com and they are in Hickory, NC. They may have the lowest fees but their quality and response are the worst.
