Cute hotel convenient location the center of town, but in a very quiet neighborhood.
Good place to stay Pros: The bed was very comfortable and love fact it had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. Cons: Hotel parking a little difficult to park. Location: It's walking distance to shopping, restaurants and has a grocery store about a block from the hotel. Very nice, quite and comfortable. Good service and would book again for my stay in Carmel, Ca.
Good inside - forget looking out the window. Pros: Great location near shops and across street from great restaurant "The Forge in the Forest" Cons: No outlook from rooms Location: See above Very comfortably attractively furnished rooms with small refrigerators, some with real antiques. Very few have any out look - all about the interiors.
Pleasant stay in Carmel Pros: location Cons: lack of internet connectability Location: easy to find and access with convenience to restaurants and shopping Good value with good location. Advertised free wifi but unable to connect and they did not seem too concerned. Otherwise good experience.
Close to downtown walking distance from almost everything. The hotel was okay could have been better.

Good value and location Pros: The room was pretty and clean. Good location. Cons: None. Location: Dining, shops, and beach are all in walking distance. It is an older hotel, in keeping with the neighborhood, where maintenance is important and is being adequately performed. Staff was helpful and attentive. Breakfast was good with patries, cereal, fruit, juice, and coffee. The location is very good. I was pleased with the value and would stay there again.
Better than the photos The room was much nicer than the photos led us to believe. The location was unbeatable.
