Okay, so I've lived here forever and just purchased my first pair of boots, so I am no expert but I love the selection and the people here at Cavender's. They have a good selection of high end exotic boots as well as high quality every day wearers. I came in to look for a hat and Garrett found me the perfect one the... the black Stetson Skyline. Looks so good on me. I am now a cowboy! So I shopped them at the boot barn but the boot barn is just the McDonald's of boots and western wear. Much higher quality and service here... read more

Met and got fitted by Mark for my new boots. We were left alone until we asked for help which is what we were looking for. Once Mark took me under his wing, my decision as to which boot to buy became easy. A pleasure doing business plus there is a huge selection of boots for the family to choose from. Added tons of boots on sale. Happy shopping!
I'm not a cowboy, but I can appreciate the beauty and phenomenal workmanship that goes into the making and designing of these boots. The have Jeans (bit overpriced) but ok looking and many other leather accessories purses hats belts boots wallets etc.. All different prices saw boots for $149 ,then I saw gator boots for $1,149. Just go inside with time.They have many locations, and one to soon be opened in Orlando,fl. Bought a product of Bison and Elephant skin
After a bad experience at the Rockwall location I returned to the Cavenders at 635 & Josey. I appreciated the professional experienced service without any up selling. The gentleman that helped me was a pro and helped me find exactly what I wanted.
Very nice inside with many varieties. Only problem was that the people working weren't very nice. The girl in there rolled her damn eyes at the manager!!! Nor did she greet us when we came in or left. Not impressed at all with the service at all!! Definitely not coming when the girl is in there.
Well, we moved here almost a year ago and every time we visit Texas we say we will visit a boot store. Today was the day. Just wow!! I personally loved it. I loved the clothing options and boots... the boots. They were everywhere! Prices ranged $40-$700 and more. The boots we saw were awesome. When we have more money HAHA! We will come back. On a recent trip to Dallas, my hubby mentioned that he loved the smell of leather. Well.. I knew where I had to take him! We arrived and were immediately greeted and asked if we needed help with anything. We perused the aisles and aisles of boots and other items. I was looking for a gift to give friends back home, but didn't find anything within my budget that really screamed "Texas". So we left without purchasing anything, but it was a positive experience nonetheless.
