Yeehaw!! This was the largest and most smelly good Cavender's I've ever had the pleasure of shopping in. And we have an outlet store not far from San Antonio. Every person working made an attempt to help us out! I could just take a seat and soak up the leathery smells from this place, but we had football to watch and that ended our visit.
You live in Texas. You're a man. You need jeans and boots, maybe a new shirt? Go to Cavenders. But take it easy, you could leaving looking like you got run over by a rodeo.
I must applaud Cavender's. They was ready yesterday for the rush of us last minute shoppers as we crowded the isles in preparation for Go Western Day. The lines seemed long but they went so fast. Parking is a beast so just be prepared for that. The trick is park at Pappasittos, have 2-3 margaritas and then ease on over to Cavender's. Giddieuuuup
Woot Woot! After many years of debating if I should get a pair of cowboy boots, I finally did it. I purchased my first pair on Christmas eve. I brought one of my friend with me because my friend knows a ton about cowboy boots. We picked a pair that I was comfortable in. I knew the style I wanted and the color but didn't know my sizes. This place was jammed pack and limited amount of staff. I'm glad that I took my friend here. LOL. I am now ready for rodeo season hehe... I can't wait to wear my first pair.
Great store with very helpful staff! We came here looking for a true cowboy boots for my BF and he spent such a long time that I was super impressed with how patient the staff was who helped him. (Brent?) I worked in retail several moons ago and I would have left him in his indecision. But not Brent (?). Pleasant, polite, and super helpful. Anyway, it took him so long to decide I ended up buying boots too! (So see, it paid off) Go here for friendly service and truly outstanding inventory!
This Cavender's has the BEST boot selection of the boot stores that I've been to here in the Houston and Baytown area. Not only did they have all the selection of styles, but they HAD MY SIZE!! I have wide feet and had been looking for a particular pair of luchesse boots in the wide width for my foot and hadn't been able to find them. One can't roam Texas without some cowboy boots. Lol Actually I did pass on the boots as I can't gather the need for one being a city boy. The wifey and kids just couldn't resist and all walked out with some fancy boots. This place has rows and rows of boots-more than I've ever seen. Prices seem to be fair, but never shopped for boots, so not exactly sure if it's the best deal in town. great store. i like shopping here for my shirts. my favorite time to buy is when they have the buy one and get 50% off the next shirt. i have bought plenty of boots, hats, belts, jeans, wallets, and much more from these guys. the people there are always ready to help.
Love this place. I'm from St. Louis and went in to get my first pair of cowboy boots. It was a great experience. I was genuinely greeted by Vincent. He was kind, patient, and very knowledgeable! He answered all 50+ questions that I had. He gave me the perfect amount of time to look around, but periodically checking on me to see if I needed anything else.
